Founded in 2018, run from Singapore and listing 200 assets (counted on 2026-05-18), Weex keeps KYC optional — unusual among the 11. Weex's public instruments endpoint returned an error on 17 Sep 2026, the same way its rate card does, so this count is still the one taken in May. Security record (36 months to 2026-09-17): We found no report of a security incident at Weex in this window. Weex has itself disclosed one: an ETH/USDT order-matching failure in March 2025, after which it says it paid 5,022 users 6,123,393 USDT out of its protection fund — though its own announcements put the number of users at 2,073 before they put it at 5,022. Nobody outside Weex has checked any of it. No independent outlet has written about Weex's security record in either direction; the March 2025 figures above are Weex's own and nobody has audited them.
